The Rose Society of New South Wales Inc. Centenary 1913-2013

Within this book are stories which come from fragile, brown-coloured, aged pages. They are mixed with stories recently told.

When did you recognise yourself as a rosarian? For me it started fifty years ago with twelve plants, a gift from my parents.

The connection is, I hope for you as it has been for me, the people who go with the roses. Members no longer with us I recall as my mentors. It has been a privilege for me to set them into this historical record. I do hope you enjoy these stories I have chosen from a very caring, active society. All different and a never-ending supply, I hope this is a future prediction for rosarians and their roses.
